Who is an ideal candidate for Cryoskin?
The ideal client for Cryoskin is already eating healthy, exercising, drinking water every day, and looking to treat a trouble spot (be it a double chin, arms, thighs, love handles, or belly pooch) to reduce fat or is looking to reduce cellulite. If you can pinch it, we can freeze it. This is not a weight-loss treatment, it is targeted fat loss. Some clients do lose weight, but it is not the end goal. The goal is to contour your body to make you excited about short sleeves or confident to wear crop tops or shorts again.
If I'm not an ideal client does that mean I can't do Cryoskin?
Absolutely not! I have seen clients of all shapes and sizes benefit from Cryoskin treatments. Be aware that it will take longer to get the results you are looking for.
Is there a reason I CAN'T do Cryoskin?
There are few contraindications for this treatment.
We will not see clients who have Severe Raynaud's Syndrome, severe allergy to cold, and progressive diseases (MS, ALS, Parkinson's, neuropathy).
We cannot treat over irremovable body piercings or clients with implants in the treatment area.
Pregnancy/Breastfeeding is contraindicated for all sessions except the Facial Toning (Absolutely NO body sessions).
For Slimming sessions specifically: Active Cancer (within the past 18 months), HIV/AIDS, Lymphatic Disorders, Severe Kidney and Liver Disease, Uncontrolled Diabetes and Diabetes-related complications.
Does it HURT?
Nope! Most clients say it feels like a really great massage.
Is there any downtime to Cryoskin?
There is NO downtime! Come in during lunch and go right back to work after. I know, you'd rather slip out early, and you can... but not because we need you to.
Are there any side effects?
Most clients experience coldness in the area treated. Sometimes localized redness can last a few hours.
Some clients experience some delayed onset muscle soreness that rarely exceeds 2 to 3 hours.
There may also be some itching without consequences and often due to the reactions of certain cosmetic products used by clients.(I have only had ONE client experience this)
